What started more than two centuries ago as farmers brought bags of grain to a small gristmill along the Little Pigeon River is now the Old Mill. It is now one of the oldest continual operating gristmill in the country and known as one of the most photographed. There is a restaurant, café, creamery and candy kitchen as well as a general store, farmhouse kitchen, pottery and distillery. The gift shop sells feed for the ducks, geese and other waterfowl that gather on the shore for just $1, giving your family a fun, inexpensive way to spend an afternoon.
