Dandridge Golf and Country Club was one of the first golf courses built in the area. As a result, it has a reputation to uphold as one of the best. The course was designed by Dan Maples with 18 holes that wandered through hills, woodlands and valleys. In 1991, nine more holes were added, creating the first 27-hole course in the area. The course has Bermuda fairways and bentgrass greens.
